About Fitfully Chic

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog, Fitfully Chic. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama and have always had an interest in living a healthy and active lifestyle. My love for being fit kick started when I joined my high school track and field team in junior high. I conquered a major hurdle in my life when I underwent a spinal fusion surgery due to my scoliosis the summer before my senior year. Going through such a major surgery kept me out of the gym for 6 months, but taught me that I was stronger than I ever knew. Having to take a break from the track, I taught myself how to live a fit life through eating right.

After graduating from the University of Alabama, I moved to gorgeous sunny California. Moving to California conjoined my love for healthy eating and healthy living. Some of my favorite fitness activities include hitting the gym, running the Santa Monica stairs, yoga at home, and hiking LA’s beautiful trails. I also spend time prepping all my meals for the week to keep my body fueled properly. I love being in the kitchen and creating healthy recipes.

When I am not busy with health and fitness, you can find me working on my freelance social media career. I am a freelance social media consultant. This is my side hustle but I love it. I have such a passion for social media and creating content. It gives me a chance to be creative! Head on over to my Fit Freelancer page to read more!
